March 30, 2020 at 3:03 pm #1199082Hi, I would like to know if I can do that and at the same time not worry about the next updates – if I touck the archive page (.php) can I have problems in the next updates? Thanks!

April 1, 2020 at 4:46 am #1199602Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. If you want to override any of the templates then you need to copy them to your child theme. If you don’t have a child theme then you can find instructions on how to install one here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#why-child-theme
Best regards,
RikardApril 1, 2020 at 6:44 am #1199619Hi Rikard, I am using a child theme. With that am I 100% sure I will not have problems in the future, if I edit a template like that?

April 4, 2020 at 4:39 am #1200720Hi,
Thanks for the the update. There’s no 100% guarantee since the parent template might be changed in a way which would require you to update the child theme template as well, but your overrides won’t be overwritten on updates. That is guaranteed.
