Hi,
I’m trying to make our video slider full screen and mobile responsive but I can’t seem to get both features on.
Thanks.

John TorvikJune 29, 2017 at 6:42 am #814252Does it work on the Layerslider? I was planning to use it on the home page just like what we currently have.
June 29, 2017 at 3:17 pm #814525Hi yannickdassignies,
You could use Layer Slider, but both of these elements will need to be adjusted for different screen sizes.

Thanks.
July 4, 2017 at 9:46 am #816220Hi,
I’ve tried using this on the LayerSlider video background but it doesn’t seem to work on mobile devices.
<video> <source src="/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/LJhnr1oB.mp4" type="video/mp4" /> <source src="/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/LJhnr1oB.webm" type="video/webm"> <source src="/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/LJhnr1oB.ogv" type="video/ogg"> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/LJhnr1oB.swf"> <param name="movie" value="/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/LJhnr1oB.swf" /> <img src="/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/fallback.png" alt="Sample" title="No video playback capabilities" /> </object> </video>
It got stucked on loading animation.
July 6, 2017 at 3:58 am #816998Hi,
Any follow up regarding this? I also noticed that the color section for video doesn’t work on mobile. The video is not playing. I followed the video tutorial and it didn’t work on apple safari iphone.
Thanks.
July 6, 2017 at 10:56 pm #817520Hi,
Video are not supported for mobile, that is why the fallback image exists.
If there is an update on the Web API we will do update also.Best regards,
BasilisJuly 7, 2017 at 2:10 am #817552Hi,
Sorry to disagree but that is not entirely true. I already got it working. You can check the link provided below and see if it works on mobile. I didn’t use any external js, css or plugins.
Anyway, may I ask some help on how to make the LayerSlider on Fullscreen and mobile responsive? I tried to set a certain height but it was too big in some monitor size.
Thanks.

VictoriaJuly 7, 2017 at 9:51 am #817694Can you try it again? I was installing W3 Total Cache. Now everything is fixed.
July 7, 2017 at 11:06 am #817746Hi yannickdassignies,
Could you please disable caching now, I need css files as they are on the frontend.
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 8, 2017 at 3:58 am #818044You may try it on our beta site that has no caching plugin.
July 8, 2017 at 5:53 pm #818228Hi yannickdassignies,
Looks ok on the beta, same on my cellphone, does not take up the whole screen. Did you get it fixed?

VictoriaJuly 9, 2017 at 12:04 am #818317Hi,
I tried to use the fullscreen option on layerslider but the video size doesn’t go fullscreen on mobile. Any ideas how to make it work or any tweak that might worth trying?
I got question about the menu, currently I moved the menu to center to match the slider. Is it possible once I scroll it down, the menu will go back to the right? Any thoughts?
July 10, 2017 at 11:28 pm #819032Hi,
Yes, it is possible.
Scrolling has a different class also on the menu, so you can use that to re-align the menu properly.Best regards,
BasilisJuly 11, 2017 at 6:06 am #819097I can’t seem to get it working. Can you help me out on this?
July 12, 2017 at 8:34 am #819861Hi yannickdassignies,
Jumping menu is not a good idea, it might be confusing or annoying to your visitors. Anyway, the menu in the new version of Enfold, which is already available, is a bit different. You might want to update the theme. The new version of Layer Slider is in there as well.

VictoriaJuly 20, 2017 at 4:02 am #824310Hi,
There is a bug our video slider. In the first load, it doesn’t go fullscreen on browsers but on the second load it goes on the fullscreen. Any fix for this?
Can we force the video to go fullscreen?July 20, 2017 at 9:30 am #824447Hi yannickdassignies,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.1.2) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

RikardJuly 20, 2017 at 10:36 am #824466Hi,
We’ve already have the latest update in our live site and still the video is not on fullscreen.
July 25, 2017 at 12:13 am #829287May I followup on this?
Thank you.
July 25, 2017 at 4:35 am #829341Hi,
Please note that video backgrounds are not supported on mobile because they won’t autoplay. You have to add a fallback image if you’re using the theme’s default sliders.

IsmaelJuly 25, 2017 at 4:40 am #829347Hi Ismael,
That’s not entirely true. It is working. You may try to check our site on your mobile device. I don’t have any issues on mobile device. I’m having issues on Desktop/Laptop web browsers. It doesn’t go fullscreen on first load.
July 27, 2017 at 7:06 am #830470Any follow up from this? I need some help on the fullscreen bug.
On the first load it has a black border and doesn’t go on fullscreen.
Second load it goes to fullscreen without a problem.I’ve provided both Live and Test site please see the link below.
PS: Our site that has a working video with AUTOPLAY on both mobile and desktop view, you can see the link on the private content..
July 29, 2017 at 9:24 am #831411Hi yannickdassignies,
Could you please indicate which browser is it, that you’re using and please send us a few screenshots of the issue. I am not able to reproduce the issue with the information above.
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 29, 2017 at 9:35 am #831413Hi Victoria,
It is for both Chrome and Firefox. Try to hit CTRL + SHIFT + R (windows). COMMAND + SHIFT + R (mac). Try those commands on your browser for hard refresh to remove the cache and redownload everything. Or try it using Incognito or Private browsing.

I’m sorry but the video is not going to work on mobile devices. It is disabled by default and it has been since the very first version of the theme. Please add a fallback image.

IsmaelAugust 1, 2017 at 1:28 pm #832853Hi Ismael,
Why don’t you try and check our website on both computer/laptop and on mobile device? I don’t know why you keep on telling that it doesn’t work. This is so disappointing coming from your end. If you do a backread Victoria gave a feedback that it looks ok on the beta same on her cellphone.
Is there any moderator or any higher people that can help us and explain this kind of feedback from your end?
