We have a blog that we regularly add different posts from Post menu. In the blog posts, we have two categories: Technical Case Study and News. As the articles increased, I want to separate the technical case study and news to different page. All technical case study posts stay in the Blog page, then news articles will be put on a new page, say News page. How can I do that in Enfold Theme?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you using the Blog Post element in order to display your posts? If so then you can select which categories you want to show in the element options.

Thanks for your response! Where can I check if I am using Blog Post element or not? Is there any short code for which category to display on certain page? For example, category A to be displayed on Blog page, then Category B to display on News page. Everytime when we add a post, we select which category, then it will be post on that page automatically.
Thanks.

You can check if you edit the actual page in question, if you are not using the Blog Post element then I would advise you to do so since it will enable you do what you are looking to achieve.

Thanks again. Yes, I am using the Blog Post on the Blog page, and select which entries to display (Technical Case Studies). But the news category still displayed on the Blog page, what did I do wrong?

Just to be clear; you would have to use the Blog Posts element on both pages in order for that to work. If you are not using it on both pages then please try that out first. If you should need any further help on the topic then please post admin WordPress login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site.
Best regards,

Yes, I created a page called Press Release, uses blog page, select News category to display, it displays all the press release as desired.I did the same on the blog page (select technical case study category in stead), but it still display everything. I have included the login info in private content for you to take a look for me. Thank you!
LiyuOctober 25, 2019 at 5:33 am #1151070Hi,
Thanks for the update, so the problem is the page in private? If so then please unset that to be used as your blog in the theme options. You can set the “Select Page” option at the top of the list in order to not set a blog page. After that you can edit the page, then add a Blog Posts element to it.
Best regards,
Rikard -
