Hi, we have a multisite set up with one of our sites set up in English and one in French. However, on the french site until now we’ve just translated all the text manually but would like to set up a blog and the built in enfold elements (such as search bar and comments) are defaulting to english. How can we get these default elements to show up in French?
Hi,
Can you post the link to your website please?
Regards,
Josue
Whoops, sorry: https://www.fitzii.com/fr/blogue
Hi,
Could you also provide login details to your WordPress dashboard. Place the details in the private data section of your reply.
Best regards,

Hi,
The reason you’re seeing most of the stuff in English is because the French version of the site is set to English (‘en-CA’). Change that in General Settings.

Josue
Changed it and the comment section is still all english as well as ‘Search’ in the search bar.
Hi,
Can you try fr-FR instead of ca-FR (you can change that in WordPress multisite).
Best regards,
Josue
Changed it and still nothing.
Hi,
can you give us superadmin access or FTP?
Best regards,
Josue
yep, done.
Hi,
We set the language settings to “Francais” because the theme doesn’t have the translation files for the “Francais du Canada”. If you find any text that are not translated, please go to the Loco Translation > Themes > Enfold panel then click the “French” language. Search for the string and text, provide the translation then sync the files.
Best regards,
Ismael
Great, thanks!
