How to load demo content for a page

Installing a demo will overwrite your current pages & posts, one option around this is to save your current page to a plain text document on your desktop by Enabling the Avia Layout Builder Debugger it adds a new field on your page editor that shows the shortcode of the page so you can copy it and paste it into a new page. Please note it won’t copy images, so you will need to also save them to your desktop and re-upload them.

So if you copy your page and save it, you can then install a demo. Then afterward you can create a new page and paste your saved shortcodes in and save, then in the theme settings choose that page as your “frontpage” if you wish.

Using these steps you could copy pages from each demo to mix and match the demos, be sure to also save the images you want to your desktop because each time you install a demo the images are removed from the database, so even though they are physically on your server, WordPress doesn’t know it, and you can’t see them in your media library. In this case you will need to upload them again and re-choose them for the page.

Hi,
When loading the demo there is not an option to target a certain page. If you want to copy the same landing page demo you have on one page to another, you can copy and paste the shortcodes as described above. Or let us know which demo page you would like and I can post the shortcodes for you. I have many of the demos installed on my localhost.
