Hi, i was wondering the following:
i want to use the masonry like in your demo “Minimal Photography Demo” for services and additional stuff like the blog. So i want to link the images directly to pages and the blog. BUT: i know that this is portfolio masonry, but the services are all described on pages.
So, is there a way to create a masonry like this only with images? I was looking for the masonry gallery, but there, i do not have the
option to tag the single entry with landscape or portrait attributes. Are there any other ways?
Thank you very much for your great effort in this forum!

Try changing the masonry content type to categories, and create a category for just the pages you want to show. Then go to the Element captions tab > Element Title and Excerpt and choose if you want to display title and/or excerpt or none.Best regards,

Question: How can i connect pages and categories? It works for portfolio entries and blog posts.
Well, the thing is i already have pages with set up SEO and i was looking for an easy way instead of using the debug mode to transfer all the pages to categories and loosing the SEO efforts.I found out how to add categories via a plugin which allows me also to tag the sites
BUT: the masonry does not react on landscape or portrait tags. How can i achieve this? I am so frustrated right now…
I found this link with a snippet, Link to external Site but maybe you can recommend me a plugin?Best regards,

July 23, 2017 at 10:20 pm #828784Hi,
What I was suggesting didn’t require a plugin, what I meant was to add unique categories to the pages or posts you want to link to:
then change the masonry content type to categories:
select the categories to show:
then the masonry will link to those pages.
Is that sound like what you are trying to do?Best regards,
MikeJuly 24, 2017 at 10:43 am #828947Hi Mike, no.
what you did is the common way to “link” the masonry with tags.
I want to use the masonry to show the feature image of pages. So i can click on that image and it will lead me to a created page.
Well, this is not possible with the masonry so far – only with blog posts or portfolio items etc. So, i tried to use a plugin to set categories and tags to pages in order to “connect” the masonry with those pages. it works so far. but the masonry do not react on the tags “portrait” and “landscape”.
why? how can i change this? thank youMay Yigit or someone who has a in depth knowledge of the theme have a look at this`?
