    I know this questions sounds stupid, but I receive my first update. I upload the zip file and WordPress says it already exists. And nowhere I can find a manual on how to update the theme… Please help asap.

    And I find this forum way too much… 100.000 topics…

    Hi,

    you don’t need to download anything by hand, wordpress is doing that for you.

    Log into WordPress and do the update from there. your-site.org/wp-admin (i think this is the default).

    It’s very simple and easy… only few clicks but always remember, take backup before updating.

    Thanks for the quick reply @codexsolutions

    I do know this automatic update from other themes.
    But since Enfold is a premium theme, they send a download link to the updated theme. Only members with a valid subscription can download.
    In wp-admin I did not see an announcement for updating the theme.

    I certainly always backup before any changes to the site. Thanks for warning.

    Thank you @samconag
    This was exactly what I was looking for.
    I entered the API key in the WordPress backend.
    Now it was easy to update the theme without any downloading and uploading.
