    Hi there,

    I’ve been looking for ways to hide the comments container on single posts. I don’t want to use that functionality at all, so how can i hide it? I found solutions to add to the Quick CSS here in the Forum, but the only one worked, was to hide the comment count on the preview…
    I appreciate your help.

    Cheers, Katrin

    Hey Katrin!

    Your page cannot be found. Is it set to private?
    Please edit your post and click “screen options” on the right top corner and check “discussion” and then scroll below your post content and disable discussion on that specific post.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    Thanks for checking. You’re right, it was set to private, since I thought that just you guys can see it, but not anybody else in the Forum… But I solved the problem. I just made new posts and threw the old ones away. Now the settings work…

    However, I bought a second license für another webpage. And THERE I have a problem with the Blog. :)
    It’s a masonry and it looks good, but when you open any post, ALL the posts are displayed and i cannot find the problem. It was like this all of a sudden…

    You can find it here:

    thanks for you help!

    Hi!

    Your posts are all linked to http://neu.anna-mehl.com/home. Can you please try de-activating all active plugins and if that does not help, create a temporary admin login and post it here privately so we can look into it?

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,

    There are only two PlugIns installed:
    Akismet
    Hello Dolly

    There are both inactive.

    I set up an admin login for you.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

    I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?

    The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.

    To hide the comment section on single post page please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:

    .single-post .comment_meta_container, .single-post .comment_container{
    	display:none!important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hello Vinay,

    I just checked the login, and it worked. It is set to admin as well…
    Would you mind trying again? It’s all small letters.

    Thanks for the other advice! :)
