Hi
My client wants to hide Avia_Forced_:Reroute -parameters from URL-field. Or overall hide parametrization from URL.
Is there any way to hide it?
If I take it, 404, away it will stop finding the the homepage. I do not know why.

Hi Nikolai,
It’s likely that you have selected the front page as your custom 404 page in the theme options. If you have turned that functionality off, and the behaviour is still the same, then please activate it again, and select the very top option in the list of page, which is not a page. Then save the theme options, turn the custom 404 functionality off again and save. If that doesn’t work, then please include admin WordPress login details in private, so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard
Main problem is that if I take 404 set away, it will give you some random page, not the set home page, “Kotisivu” in theme options.
I have tried to find to reason, set another pages, tried different add-ons and so on. No luck.

Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Have you tried setting the Custom Error 404 Page settings to the second option (Display selected page without redirect)? This should show the 404 page without appending the query arg avia_forced_reroute=1.
Best regards,
Ismael
HI Ismael,
is it possible, just to hide the slug e.g. by rewrite? I have the same problem. but if i set the option to “Display selected page without redirect”, THIS solution doesn’t work anymore, because maybe the site gets a temporary own page-id or s.th.
