Within the tabler browser itself there should be an option to display desktop site.

Thanks for the update, I’m not sure exactly what you would like to change though. Could you try to explain a bit further please?

RikardJune 26, 2019 at 9:44 am #1113547Hi Rikard!
sure. Our desktop version of the website is more complete than the mobile one.
We know that most of our users see the website on tablets but tablets default view on browser is mobile view. So, only on tablet display we need that the default version of the site is the desktop one, not mobile.
Hope you help me!
Thank you

June 27, 2019 at 4:08 am #1113782Hi,
Great, thanks for the clarification. I’m still not sure exactly what is missing on the tablet version of the site though, is it the auto play video maybe? If so then that is to be expected, autoplay videos are disabled on mobile devices. Otherwise I can’t think of anything that would be missing on tablet which would be there on desktop?
Best regards,
RikardJune 27, 2019 at 9:47 am #1113849That’s right! I should make that the auto play video of the homepage starts also on tablet, as happen on desktop display.
Actually, within the tablet browser itself there is an option to display desktop site. Well, I need to display desktop site as default view forcing it using some css or php function maybe. (without having to do it through browser options).
I hope there is any solution or workaround.
Thanks
Federica
June 28, 2019 at 5:07 am #1114160Hi Federica,
Thanks for the update, but autoplay is not possible on mobile devices unfortunately. It’s not possible to autoplay on for instance Apple devices, user interaction is required before the video can play. Maybe you could have a regular video element for mobile devices?

fJune 28, 2019 at 4:52 pm #1114302Hello!
My client asks me if we can resolve this issues using this simple workaroud:
When a mobile user lands on the homepage, a popup box appears with a simple text that suggests to change the view by the browser option in order to display desktop site.
This popup box should be shown only for mobile user.
Is it possibile to do it with some enfold element or I should use any plugin?
Thanks
FedericaJune 29, 2019 at 2:08 pm #1114427Hi Federica,
You might want to look for a plugin that does that or a developer who will write the custom script for you.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
