I’ve installed a Statcounter plugin and its causing a problem with a page using the galleries plugin, but not any other. Rather than remove it altogether, the obvious thing would seem to be to remove its code from the galleries page only – I’m aware that it inserts a block of code in each page, and I’m used to editing html in Dreamweaver. The question is, can this be done in WordPress? I can’t identify which file to edit – although I’ve called the page ‘photos’ there is no file called photos.html or .php. What file or files include all the page information?
Hey FFAlan,
WordPress pages are created dynamically so you won’t be able to edit the page as you would in html. Yet you can add a filter to your functions.php that will prevent the plugin from loading on any page that you wish.
It is best to ask the developer of the plugin for this filter as they have more experience with their plugin, typically going to their support forum and doing a quick search will yield this as often other users have already asked for this.
Best regards,
Mike
