    I would like to remove the Pages and Categories sections to the display of Sidebar. Can you please tell me how to accomplish that.

    Hey theonlykieran,

    From your WordPress dashboard navigate to Appearance > Widgets. You can edit the sidebar from this page.

    Yes, I’ve edited the Sidebar widget, but those values don’t take effect. It just continues showing Pages, Categories, Archive. As a workaround I created another widget, and then used that.
