Tagged: shorcodes
Hi,
When I create a shortcode in a blog article, I see a code like this:
[av_image src='http://myweb/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/DSCN36851-300x225.jpg' attachment='3068' align='right' animation='bottom-to-top' link='' target='']
How could a update this shorcode using the visual designer?
I’m asking this just because there will be people without technical skills creating Posts in the blog.
Thanks!
Juan
Hey juancho!
They would need to re-insert it fresh using the magic wand icon.
Cheers!
Devin
Hi Devin, thanks for the response!
So it means that it’s not possible to update an already created shortcode but just to create a new one each time?
For right now yes, you can edit the shortcode just like any other normal shortcode or use the builder (popup) to insert a new one so that you can use all the UI options.
Thanks Devin!
Do you know if are you going to create something to update shortcodes with the visual editor?
Hey!
You can also enable ALB on Posts, that way you don’t need to use the Magic Wand:
