Hello,
i built for a Customer of mine a Enfold Site (Child Theme is “online”).
Now my Customer want to have a exact Duplicate from the .de-Domain for the new .at-Domain (because of a second Location in Austria).
The way I see it, the workflow would be as follows:
1. Install WordPress for the at. page
2. Buy a new Enfold license, install it, add a child theme and activate it
3. Export the theme settings file on the .de page
4. Export the layout architect templates on the .de page
5. Import the theme settings file on the .at page
6. Import the Layout Architect templates on the .at page
7. Overwrite the database with the .at ending
Is that correct? Or is there a better way to do this?
Thank you very much,
FelixL
Hey felixl,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Yes, that’s about it, unless you’re planning to use multi-language plugin such as WPML or Polylang. If not, then you can proceed with the transfer manually, or you can also use one of the following plugins to help you with the migration:
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/
Best regards,
Ismael
