How to display Woocommerce Subcategories on a custom page in a desired order

Hi there
I am creating a custom page using the ALE and I want to display the subcategories of my products from 2 different parents on the one page but in my desired order of display NOT what Woocommerce seems to choose as a default. How do I do that? There must be some magic short code I am missing.
For instance, in a text box, I can use [product_categories ids= 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,6,] to select the categories for display on that page, but how do I get them to display on the page in the order I have written the ids in the comma-separated list instead of referring to the set up in Categories?
