How to display text under Main Featured Post.

Hi there. New to the theme and wondering how to have text from my post to display beneath the featured image. Most of my posts will GO Title>Images>then text. At this point I’m getting either the entire post or just the image. My site is http://www.inglenookblog.com. The site I’ve seen this work correctly on is http://cloisteredaway.com/. I’ve tried a few suggestions from other forum submissions that seemed to be asking the same thing but none worked. I’m not sure that its the same problem. Thanks for any help.
