    Hey jack000486,

    When you make posts with the Advanced Layout Builder you need to add excerpt manually so that they can be shown there.

    https://cl.ly/fd816d1484c8 In the latest versions it’s here. In your version, you need to look for the “Screen options” in the right top corner of the page and check the box.

    Hi,

    You are looking in the wrong place, that is the Screen Options tab in a layout builder element. You need to look for Screen Option in the top right hand corner of the edit page in WordPress.

    Hi,

    https://imgur.com/a/oSO1pXn. After you have checked that option then you will have a new window under the Layout Builder where you can fill out the excerpt.
