Hi,
I’m very pleased with the Enfold theme, but I have one (small) question:
How would I go about making bookmarks on a page that I can use for linking to specific sections?
I would love to create links as /product/#section1, /product/#section2.
The solution I’m tinking of is to be able to add a custom id to a layout element or a special heading, but if there is an other (smarter) solution, I’m happy to hear it.
Kind regards,
Donny
August 8, 2013 at 3:52 am #133734Hi,
I think you are on the right road. Just apply a unique id for each section then use a Button element, set Button Link? to manual then place the section id like (#section1).

Ismael

Thank you for reply. Maybe my question wasn’t clear enough:
I understand how to create and set the proper urls in links (and buttons), but how do I apply an id to a section?
Kind regards,
Donny

The most recent version of the theme files allows you to set a unique id for each color section. Its just a field on a color section for ID and you can add your own and it will output as an ID.

September 6, 2013 at 1:53 pm #133737Hi,
I am really new here and trying to get a bookmark to work and can’t. I have modified the example home page so have an Icon Box and would like to link this to the color section.
I have added the text “IDfeaturedwork” as the ID in the ID field of the color section. What is the exact Manual URL I would use?
September 6, 2013 at 5:52 pm #133738September 7, 2013 at 8:40 am #133739I thought so but nothing happens when I click the Link. I have tried the full site URL and then /#IDfeaturedwork and still nothing happens.
I tried putting another ID on another page /services/#bookmarkDF and all it does is take me to the services page and not the bookmark. :(

September 9, 2013 at 10:25 pm #133742Thanks for the Fix, Yigit. Just so other know, the ID field did not work because I used CAPS in the name. the id has to be lowercase only.
