Hello Enfold Team,

Thank you for the inquiry.
Have you tried placing them inside a single row of 1/3 columns instead of creating 3 rows? It might also work with the grid row element with this setup. Please don’t mind the images. :)

It might require a bit of css adjustment.

no matter what you do, you cannot connect columns … when you for example use “Table Press” as a Plugin it gives you the possibility to create a table in which you can connect columns to create different field sizes … just by adding a command in that certain column … like this:But i wanted to use Enfold functionality … i am not really happy with the responsive behaviour from Table Press.
I am a bit astonished now, that this is not possible with Enfold to be honest … or do i miss something ?Thank you Bernd

That is not possible by default no, since the layout columns are not tables. I think your best bet would be to use a 1/3 + 2/3 layout. Then you can use custom CSS for the elements in the 2/3 row. We can try to help you out with that if you should need it. If you should need help with that, then please include admin WordPress login details in private.

thank you for your reply … i am bit dissapointed about that … that doesnt allow me to create tablestructures like we need them …
but you can have a look into our test website … see the login data below …
Thank you so much for your help there ! BerndNovember 1, 2021 at 4:37 am #1327255Hi Bernd,
Thanks for the update and login details. I think it would be best if you decide if you want to use tables or columns first, but I’ve added an example at the bottom of your front page which you can try to use.

RikardNovember 1, 2021 at 10:39 am #1327277Hi Rikard,
thank you very much … that could be a way … although not really comfortable … and we do have the problem now, that there is a gap between the pictures … i tried to put a margin and padding 0 in it, but that doesnt help … any suggestions on that ? … i prefer the columns … they are easier to handle to my opinion, but if you can set us the same with a table sample, that would be great … then we could compare and decide ? … Thank you very much for your help !! B.
November 1, 2021 at 3:01 pm #1327307Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’ve added classes to the second and third row, and aligned them with custom CSS in Quick CSS. If you want to use tables instead then you can try the Table element in the theme, or the plugin you were using. If you should run into any problems, then we can see if there’s anything we can do about it.

RikardNovember 5, 2021 at 12:43 pm #1327935Hi Rikard,
thank you very much, but we decided not to use it … the reason is, that there is no possibility anymore to position the pictures perfect, to give them an automatic position, image detail or size format … we are also a bit afraif of the responsive usage then … so we go for other ways here. But also, in case of ENFOLD itself … it is a bit dissapointing … ENFOLD is really good and should include functions like that for 100% … also the max. numbers of columns should be 12 not 5 … if you compare with ELEMENTOR for example, ENFOLD should get updated asap.
So thank you for your support anyway … it was great. But this topic can get closed.
Thank you and KRs Bernd
November 5, 2021 at 3:34 pm #1327944please show me a good looking 12 column layout ;)
November 5, 2021 at 3:46 pm #1327945believe it or not, every calender has got 12 columns … how do you do that with Enfold ? ;)
November 5, 2021 at 4:00 pm #1327957here is a gallery with 9 columns – https://webers-testseite.de/gallery-with-8-images/ using flexbox model. ( Gridmodel is very complex – but a mighty tool too ). ( Sorry for page – title it was before a 8 column flex constuction )
But floating text from one container to another one is hard to get with column layout – and even with table layout.
One thing you can achieve is a single-column layout, divided into column numbers:
https://webers-web.info/textblock/And Ismaels idea of using grid-row is to nest columns : https://webers-testseite.de/nesting/
