Hi,
I have looked at all the settings in General Styling and in Advanced Styling and have not been able to find where I can change the Active Menu Item font colours, or the little line which appears under the menu item.
In General style where it shows us a ‘rough preview of the frontend’ it defines the menu items as ‘active menu item’, ‘inactive menu item’ etc but none of those are available to edit in the Logo Area, Main Content or Alternate Content tabs…
All I’m trying to do is change the colours of the menu headings, and there is currently a green underline under the menu heading which I’d like to change.
Sorry if it’s obvious – I’ve experimented with many different settings but cannot seem to change it!
July 9, 2019 at 12:49 am #1116809Hey TomAvery,
This can be done via css. What colors would you like to change them to?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonJuly 9, 2019 at 8:30 am #1116952Oh ok – could you copy and paste the code here for me?
I will probably play around with the colours till I find the one I like best!
Should I put the code in my child theme style.css file?
If you could let me know the code for the font colours, and for that line, that would be great. Thank you!

BasilisJuly 10, 2019 at 9:56 am #1117350Hi there,
Sorry, I thought you would just tell me the code to copy and paste and I could drop the colours in.
So if we go with:
Main menu item #3074B8
Active menu item #B02F35
Link hover – blackAnd then I can identify those and make changes where necessary as long as I have access?
Can you let me know if I should put the code in my child theme style.css?
July 10, 2019 at 1:07 pm #1117440Hi,
Thanks for the update, you can set all of under Enfold->Advanced Styling. Look for the Main Menu Links option. Tick the boxes at the bottom for specific styling on hover and active states.

Yes, that’s where I thought the styling should be – but it’s not working…..
I haven’t been able to make any changes to the main menu work.
July 10, 2019 at 7:18 pm #1117543Hi TomAvery,
Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?

July 12, 2019 at 5:05 am #1117915Hi,
Thank you for sharing the details. Please re-check your admin page URL it is showing a 404 error on my end.
To change the menu link colors please try the steps mentioned in the below link

VinayJuly 12, 2019 at 11:07 am #1118026My apologies, I did give you the wrong login – other login details correct – see in private content the correct URL.
I’ve tried again following the guidelines you gave, but I’m afraid any colour changes I make in the Logo Area general settings aren’t being activated on the live site.
July 12, 2019 at 1:34 pm #1118081Hi,
Thanks for the update, though none of the details you’ve posted in the thread are working. Please check and verify.
Do you have file compression active under Enfold->Performance? If so then make sure that you delete the old CSS and JS files there before checking after you have made changes.

RikardJuly 12, 2019 at 4:31 pm #1118122Hi,
I’ve re-added that user profile – try now?
I haven’t actually looked at the Performance tab yet, and I’m not sure what you mean by ‘old’ CSS and JS files….I won’t touch it for now!
July 13, 2019 at 4:56 am #1118255Hi,
Thanks for that, the settings on the backend are corresponding to what I see on the front end. Your links have the #3074B8 colour. If you want to make different settings for the hover and active states, then add another instance of the same element under Enfold->Advanced Styling and check the box in which state your settings should apply. If you want the current setting to only to apply to the default state, then uncheck the two boxes at the bottom in the current settings box.
Best regards,
RikardJuly 16, 2019 at 11:31 am #1119124Ok, that’s odd. I am not seeing the #3074B8 colour when I look at the frontend…..
Can I upload a screenshot here??
July 16, 2019 at 7:03 pm #1119249Hi TomAvery,
You can upload the screenshot to a service like https://imgur.com/upload and give us the link here.
Best regards,
