Uptil now I always made images the same size in landscape. For portrait images I just added white space on the left and right.
Is there a code that I could use, so I would not have to add the white space?
I need it for the gallery’s and masonry gallery.

    Kind regards,

    Els

    Hey Els,

Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?

You can use images with different aspect ratios.

Here are the docs for you

Thank you Victoria for your answer and looking into this.

I will try to explain it a bit better:
I want to show the images all exactly in the sizes, without using white space.
For example I want in a Masony or gallery impages of 1200x800px and 600x800px.
To make the 600x800px fit into the same I add white space left and right to make it also 1200x800px.
I would like to avoid using the white space. What codes do I have to insert to just use the real sizes?
I send you a link of a website. I have only made the structure of the Enfold, the owner of this site inserts himself the images.
I would have made a very different layout….
Also the site is not ready yet.

    Best,

    Els

but if it was possible – you have to cutoff the images. Thats what the “Perfect Grid: Display a perfect grid where each image has exactly the same size. Images get cropped/stretched if they don’t fit” does.
But you like to distort them to show all of the image ?

    Hi Els,

Do you mean something like this but without borders?

    Hi Victoria and Guenni007,

Thank you both for your reply.

What I mean is more exactly the opposite from what Guenni007 is mentioning. I want to use a masonry or gallery without the images being cropped or streched into one size, but that the images just both, portait and landscape, will fit into a frame of for example 1500x800px.
Now I add white space to the portrait, but I wonder if it´s possible to do without that, with a code or so.
    Would be nice…..

    Best regards,

    Els

    Hi Els,

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

    Best regards,
    Victoria
