Our page is set to the following:
Template: Blank No Header / No Footer template is used?
Sidebar Settings: No Sidebars
Header Settings: Hide Header on this PageThe reason we are using these settings is because we want to use the Advanced Page Builder to determine placement of the logo and content. (see link below). We do not want to add the logo in Enfold Settings because it creates a large margin of space and huge gaps on the top, left and right. Also if we do not set the template to Blank No Header / No Footer then the page shows a large invisible margin at the top (where the Enfold logo is designated to go).
So the question is, how do we allow a Footer at least with this current setup?

October 12, 2016 at 1:12 pm #698221Hi,
you need to get control over the WordPress function called “Template”. This has nothing to do with the theme. Check out this for example:

AndyOctober 12, 2016 at 5:13 pm #698419This is your response? No way. You completely glossed over the issue here. See what I said about the HEADER gap if you dont put these settings? Did you see the link I sent you? Thats how it looks WITH the settings. If I DONT use those settings then there is a big margin gap at the header where the logo supposed to be, thats what we want to avoid.
October 14, 2016 at 12:20 pm #699065Hi,
I can’t see any gap on the link you’ve provided. Can you provide us screenshots showing what you mean please? use imgur.com or dropbox.

AndyNovember 15, 2016 at 12:07 am #712222Can you just indicate how to allow FOOTER even when HEADER / FOOTER template is used? If you use the default page template then the Header space has a big margin at the top. Using the Header / Footer template hides the header how we want but we would like to keep the footer.
November 15, 2016 at 12:15 am #712229Hi!
Please edit your page and choose not to display header under Layout section – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/
Cheers!
YigitNovember 15, 2016 at 12:53 am #712242When we DO THAT it still has a margin GAP at the top. It’s just blank, as if the menu is there but hidden.
November 15, 2016 at 1:00 am #712244November 15, 2016 at 1:07 am #712247See how there is big gap when we set Hide Header on this page? If I choose No header / Footer template than it looks correct (just go to the home page and you can see)
November 15, 2016 at 1:15 am #712251Hi!
Please try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .container, .html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .slideshow_caption { padding-top: 0; }
Regards,
YigitNovember 15, 2016 at 7:06 pm #712559That worked perfect. But I have to ask, why do we need custom code for something like that? There should not be a gap. What is causing the gap anyway?
November 16, 2016 at 4:19 pm #712987Hi,
lots of different factors could cause it. Probably it’s a plugin.
However, glad we could help. Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions related to the theme. We are happy to assist you.
Best regards,
