I apologize in advance if there’s an easy answer to this, but I tried searching the forum, but couldn’t find a solution (may have missed it). I’m trying to add text and a buttons as overlay for a video.

Here is an example of what I’m trying to accomplish: https://wordonfire.institute/

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

DISREGARD: I figured it out with the Full-Slide Slider.

    Hi Julio,

You can do that by adding a Color Section with a video background, then add the header using a Special Heading element. The buttons can be added using a Button Row element.

Rikard, thank you. I will try this out. I’m just trying to place a video in the middle of my homepage. It will be mute and playing in a loop. My proposed solution above works for PC/Browser, but not via mobile.

Will let you know how it works out.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Autoplay videos are disabled by default, since some phone manufacturers don’t support it. You might want to chose a different layout for mobile devices.

I also thought Autoplay was disabled for mobile, but what’s strange is that if I go to this site: https://wordonfire.institute/ it Autoplays on my phone.

Are they doing something different? Just curious from a learning perspective. Thanks again!

    Hi,

I’m pretty sure that there are solutions out there for mobile autoplay, but as far as I know, it’s not allowed by default on for example Apple devices. We don’t have any solution to offer for that unfortunately, but you might be able to find one if you search for the problem online.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
