Hi
We have to setup the GA Click triggers. I can see that only option we can listen the clicks on a specific button is to add a unique ID for the button, because adding a custom class doesn`t work.
Here is the specific button listened from Google Tag Manager preview mode:
And here is the setup for the click trigger:
As you can see I want to add the following ID ‘<strong>button12345699</strong>’ for the button.
We need these ID`s different for each button. How to achieve this?
Hey L,
Unfortunately that feature isn’t available in Enfold, I think the work around for this is use a code block and write some html button code. Please feel free to request – or vote if already requested – such feature on Enfold feature request form.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hey Nikko,
So the clicks on separate buttons cannot be tracked by analytics at all?
Sorry but to be honest with you, I do not see that any of the existing feature requests are considered right now, because the “In progress” section is always empty and top voted features are not implemented for a long time.
Thanks
Hi,
The only way I can see for this to get done is to use a code block for the said buttons.
Best regards,
Nikko
