    How do I add a contact form to one of the footer columns? On the widgets page I see the footer column widget, but don’t see how to add a contact form into it.

    Try to do this on your own. Use e. g. Contact Form 7 plugin, create your form and insert the shortcode provided by CF7 into a text widget. ;)

    Yes, you can use the contact form 7 then add the shortcode using the text widget. :)
