How to add a Datepicker to contact form?

Hi, I would like to create a contact form with a date picker, however when editing the contact form I don’t see the option to add one (it only shows Name, Text, Subject, etc). As far as I can tell from the forums, there is a possibility to add a date picker. What am I missing?
