    I selected the grid layout for the blog. The date shows on the blog page on the grid layout but on the single post, the date doesn’t show either does the author.

    How can I get the date and author on the single post page?

    Hi Harris,

    Well, if you build posts with the Advanced Layout Builder you don’t get the post meta out of the box and you need to make some shortcode and modify templates to be able to show it in the single post.

    You can build your posts with the default editor and use the magic wand too to use the Advanced Layout Builder elements and you will get all the posts’ meta displayed.

    I think it’s a little late for that with the magic wand I got a lot of posts.

    Is there any direction on how to add some shortcode and modify templates?

    Appreciate the help.

    Or I can just use a plugin.

    Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
