There is no easy way to to update my WordPress site to 4.8.9

Hey,

You are currently using Enfold version 4.7.4. You can simply refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token, generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates in WP dashboard. If that does not work, please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately.

You can register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ using your purchase code and start new threads under Enfold sub forum :)

Hello Rikard & Yigit,
I asked for an easy way to update my Enfold WordPress to 4.8.9
I was sent a link to register and generate a personal token….and a bunch of other stuff?!?!
That is not EASY….
All I need to do to update other themes I use is click a link in the WordPress dashboard and PRESTO they are updated…!
You guys need to get it together, after all it’s 2022.
Very disappointed….

Hi Tim,

We apologize for the inconvenience however this process is what Envato/Themeforest requires for security/authentication.
To make it clear, the only process we need on the theme/Enfold side is for you to put your Envato Private Token in Enfold > Theme Update and that’s it.
Generating the private token from Envato in order to update a theme or plugin is something that’s technically on Themeforest’s side.

Rikard, Yigit & Nikko,
I created a personal token.
I successfully entered the token in the enfold theme:
Enfold > Theme Update > Enter a valid Envato private token
The Enfold theme is not updating from 4.7.4 to 4.8.4
Please help…!

Hi,

Thanks for the update, and sorry for the problem. I see that the updates are not coming through in the theme options on my end as well, I’m not sure exactly why that is though. Could you try to install and configure this plugin, to see if that works better please? https://envato.com/market-plugin/
