Up front, I am not a webmaster – I use WordPress to manage my website and depend on it to do everything under the covers. I have read all the posts about the problems with the sliders and masonry, which I am experiencing at http://pointarenalighthouse.com/. Unfortunately, all the fixes seem to involve the person fixing it to know how to edit java scripts or run updates to the Enfold theme within the actual folder where the files are located. I would like to be able to do the Themeforest update through WordPress, but when I go to the Dashboard, Updates Enfold is not one of the options so I don’t seem to be able to update it. I also checked the Theme Options under Enfold, and it says “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.3.2)” but according to the support threads Enfold is at 3.5.2. When I click on Check Manually it just takes me back to the WP Update page and Enfold is not listed there. How do I get Enfold to update through WordPress so I can get the fix for the slider/masonry problem?

Also, your screen shots for Themeforest and Envato are no longer correct, they look NOTHING like what the currrent sites look like.

    Hey Mark!

Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.

That did nothing. There is still no Enfold update in the Dashboard, and it is still showing “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.3.2)” on the Enfold Theme Updates page.” And the site’s sliders and masonry pics are still not working.

And I think myAPI key is correct, although the Envato Marketplace/Themeforest screens I see bear no resemblance to the screen shots on your site on how to get the API key (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/).

I copied the latest avia.js into the enfold directory and the slider/masonry problem is fixed. However, the Theme Update issue still exists.

    Hi,

Could you try updating manually this time? Hopefully it will work better next time: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Regards,
    Rikard
