    What is the best way to turn-off comments so the comment fields do NOT appear after any blog posts? I’ve tired changes to Settings > Discussion, but it has not effect and the comment fields still appear. Are there other settings that I’m missing? I also don’t see any settings or options related to comments for each blog post in the backend. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Brian

    Never mind, I figured out how to edit single.php to remove them.
