    Hi! I am new to wordpress and themes. I am not sure where to go to edit the footer of my website. I want to be able to change links and add social media buttons, but I am not even sure where to go to edit the footer.

    Hi uattah!

    The footer is handled by the Widgets you add in Appearance>Widgets and then in each Footer widget area. The default widgets will be replaced as soon as you add your own.
