The footer is too big, how do I make the footer space smaller in to the “average” footer size??

You have pages widget on your second footer column – http://i.imgur.com/7jWkbID.png
Which you can see by adding following code to Quick CSS.footer_color a { color: white; }Please go to Appearance > Widgets > Footer column 2 and remove the widget

Each of the current widgets is added in as a default widget by the theme. You can add in blank text widgets to clear them out and have no content or add in your own widgets of choice.
You can also choose to show or hide the widget area on all pages as well as from the theme options for site wide in the Footer Layout tab.

You can go to Apperance > Widgets and add any widget to Footer column 2 widget area or add an empty text widget to display nothing at all
