Hi,
I just put my site live, but I do have an issue, that the startpage is a redirect
http://www.weiterbildung-pferd.de is my domain and I would like to have my homepage to load directly. Now it is under weiterbildung-pferd.de/homepage. And all other linked pages have an adress such as weiterbildung-pferd.de/homepage/team. I would like to skip the homepage in here as well.
How can I solve this?
Thanks

March 17, 2017 at 3:23 pm #762530Hi there. Do you have the front page set correctly under Settings > Reading? And under Theme Options?
March 17, 2017 at 3:37 pm #762534Hi there,
I am not sure, what you mean by correct setting?
Under settings>reading it is set the way startpage is the homepage
Under enfold theme options>frontpage settings I did also selected Frontpage as itemShould that be changed?
Thanks
BirJoMarch 17, 2017 at 3:42 pm #762540Hi,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
We may need FTP logins as well
Best regards,

March 17, 2017 at 4:25 pm #762571Hi,
I went to Settings > General and corrected link in “Website-Adresse (URL)” field. Please review your website now :)
Best regards,
YigitMarch 17, 2017 at 5:17 pm #762592thanks Yigit for your help – it is working!
can you please also let me also know, how I need to fill in alt attributes, since it looks like that they are not readable by SEO the way I did it. I had been simply filling in the plain text and thought it will automatically set by enfold in the right format.
Thanks
BirJoMarch 17, 2017 at 5:23 pm #762593Hey!
Please consider using a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ :)
Cheers!
YigitMarch 17, 2017 at 5:42 pm #762608Hey,
that is exactly what I have downloaded beforehand. So what do I need to do?
Change in the media overview in enfold or somewhere in SEO (non-premium)
BirJoMarch 22, 2017 at 8:33 am #764644Hi,
Are you referring to the images’ alt attributes? Please go to the Media > Library panel then add the alt attribute manually.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 22, 2017 at 1:47 pm #764773Hi Ismael,
The issue is, that I filled in the alt attributes in the media library and SEO yeast says that I haven’t done it. So I must be wrong somewhere. I had filled in plain text in the appropriate alt attribute section, because I thought it would be than “translated” into computer language. Do I need to fill in differently?
