Sorry – this is probably a really easy one, but I’ve just gone through many of the demos and can’t find a way to do this.
My homepage is http://www.DominiqueHurley.com
Right now, I have icon boxes linking to different things.I just built my WooCommerce Shop and think it would be better to have the categories there in a way that they can see them and click on them.
How do I do that? What Avia Builder element helps me put that in and how do I choose for the categories to show up?
Thank you.

Thank you for coming back.
You can make the WC Shop page as your Frontpage in Enfold -> Theme Options -> Frontpage Settings.
In WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display -> Shop page display select “Show Categories”.
You also can add images to product categories which will show up.
Hope, this helps you.

GünterJuly 29, 2017 at 5:15 pm #831537Thanks Günter, but I don’t think I expressed myself clearly. I don’t want to change my home page. I just want to add a strip in there somewhere that shows the shop categories and don’t know which content shortcode to use to do that.
Right now, if you scroll down my homepage at http://www.DominiqueHurley.com, you’ll see I use icon boxes to direct to my shop. But is there an automated something or other that will input my shop categories?
So what I’m trying to do is have something of my shop on my homepage, but I don’t want to get rid of everything that’s there.
Thanks.

Yes, you can add a product slider or a grid with the Advanced Layout Builder to your front page.

VictoriaJuly 29, 2017 at 6:38 pm #831572Wonderful – it took a while to find those under the “plugin” section – had never noticed that one before. But it’s taking products from the various categories. I only have 3 categories and it’s these category images / links that I’d like to show up on the home page. Is that possible?

You can add 3 sliders showing each category separately, but the product slider would not show categories.

VictoriaAugust 5, 2017 at 12:09 pm #834735Wonderful – I have now done this on my homepage at http://www.DominiqueHurley.com .
My next question is how it looks on mobile. I chose 3 columns for the Original Paintings slider ot look good on desktops. When I look at it on my iPhone 5, however, it’s 3 columns down, so that if I swipe my finger to the right to see others, it slides all 3 and so they either have to scroll up and down, swipe, scroll up and down – or more likely they’ll miss this fact and only see 1/3 of my paintings. Is there a way to have this particular slider have 3 columns on desktop but only 1 on mobile? For the other 2 categories under that, it’s OK. Thank you.
August 11, 2017 at 6:41 pm #837590Hi,
You would need to create some extra media queries, to work our with the grid of the slider.
” Braking ” the grid although it not something that I would suggest – if you start it never ends.
You can take a look herehow media queries work, but all that customization is outside from our Support Policy we are afraid.
