    Current version of Layer Slider is 5.1.1
    The one packed with Enfold is 4.6.5
    recent security advisory says 4.6.5 is vulnerable and there is exploit in the wild.
    How can I update Layer Slider?

    As far as I know in that case you must buy the original plugin.
    It’s about 18$ in Codecanyon if I’m correct.

    Hi!

    The 2.6 update of Enfold actually has the update bundled with it. Otherwise as mentioned you would need to purchase the plugin yourself and disable the theme bundled version if you wanted to keep it more up to date beyond what Kriesi includes with the theme.
