    I want to hide text in the layout builder, with read more or something similar. I have three columns and want to add a “read more” for each column. Someone has mentioned a short code <!–more–> but this doesn’t work.

    Any idea?

    Hey intothenorth!

    I’m sorry but I don’t understand the problem. What elements did you add on the columns? If I am not mistaken, you need to manually create a Read More link then point it to the page that you want.

    Sorry for being unclear. What I want is that if you press “read more” then more text is shown below. Not navigating to another page. Maybe it should be “show more” instead.

    Example…
    If I have two paragraphs in the text, then only the first is shown. When I press “show more” the second paragraph appears on the same page.

    You can use the “toggle” shortcode or this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-collapse-o-matic/ to display/hide text with a “show more” link.
