Is it possible that I enter into the “single product template” and edit its layout with the Advanced Layout Builder?
If I want to add a new single product page template with Advanced Layout Builder, where should I start?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey zhnepi,

You can’t edit templates with the Layout Builder unfortunately. You can build your own products with it though.

    Dear Rikard,
Thanks for your reply, could you please tell me where should I start if I want to build my own product template?
Should I create a page and then “Save Entry as Template”?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Peter,

Yes, you can create your own product template using ALB and then save it as a template and load it on your single product pages after switching to ALB.

Please note that you would need to add each product related element manually under Plugin Additions tab of ALB – https://imgur.com/a/66H4di4 :)

    Hi,

You can simply start building your product after you have created a new one, you can then save it as a template once you are done.

    — Do you mean that I need to install the plugin: “Additions tab of ALB ” from the weblink: https://imgur.com/a/66H4di4?
I can only find app from this link, but don’t know how to download the plugin. Can you tell me how.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Those elements will appear if you have WooCommerce installed, you don’t need any additional plugins.

    Hi, Rikard,

I added one line two columns into the top of this product page,
which is expected to occupy the full wide.
but I found out that it only occupied the left half,
could you please tell me why is that, how to solve this problem?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Did you select to show a sidebar in the Layout menu? If so, then please select to now show a sidebar in the same place.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi, Rikard,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

How can I judge whether there is sidebar on the right? I didn’t set that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

You can simply look in the Layout menu, or on the front end of the actual page.

    Dear Rikard,

No, I checked in the layout menu, can not find the side bar.

And in the front end, can not see the side bar neither.

    Hi,

You can find the sidebar settings here: https://snipboard.io/LINd0A.jpg.

If you only use full width element on the page, then it will appear next to the last non full width element on the page.

    Best regards,

    Dear Rikard,

Perfect, it worked out, Thanks very much.

    Meanwhile, I have another question,
how can I get a product photo with 3 or 4 thumbnail by avia layout builder, like the woocommerce product photo?
which layout element should I adopt? I have tried content elements, media elements, not work out.

    Hi,

Glad to know that this has been resolved. Regarding the product gallery, you can try the Gallery element from the Media Elements tab, set the Styling > Gallery Style to the second option (Big image with thumbnails below), then adjust the Thumbnail Columns.

If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Ismael
