    In the theme settings I can change post meta in blog settings. This won’t affect the meta for category and tag pages (for a custom post type).

    How can I change the post meta in blog grid view? I have searched the forum and found that I could edit
    config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postslider.php

    This however would be a change in the parenttheme and would be overwritten in the next theme update.

    If I use the template builder ALB I can create a blogpage but this would not be used for tag or category archives.

    Is there a solution for one of these two options (override of postslider.php in the childtheme for blog grid or applying ABL blog page to tag- and category archives?

    Thank you very much in advance!

    P.S. I have to add that I have an own custom post type. And the custom post type archives (categories and tags) won’t recognize any blog meta settings I have made in the theme settings.

    After modifying the file, you can refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/ to move it to your child theme.
