    I accidentally hit the reset button and lost all my settings. I had Code Guard and my webhost also backed up the website. But neither saved any of the dashboard settings/the back-end customization. How do you back up the back end?

    Thanks Jordan. I uploaded and activated it. But how does it work exactly? Does it back up all the time? How do you export it and then re-import it?

    Hi,

    Basically you want to do a full export of your WordPress install. The file it produces will be your back-up file. Should you ever need to recover you will simply import this same file.

    Thanks. I did it. I put backups for each day onto Google Drive Extension. So then I can just import from there when I need to and the whole thing will restore? Including all customized settings?

    Yes if the export was successful customized settings should be there as well.
