Hello, i’d like to add a hotjar code inside the head tag on the homepage on my site. Can someone please provide advice on how to go about doing this? Thank you :)

I’m actually a bit confused. Are you saying the above code, as you provided should be exactly what is entered into the functions.php?

You can use the code in private content and add it at the bottom of functions.php

Hi Nikki,
I just placed that exact code into the bottom of my child theme’s function.php and it ended up showing on the live site. I removed it so you can’t see it now but I can share a screenshot if needed. How do I implement this code but have it not show on the live site?
