Responsive Breakpoint Won’t Work/ Element Visibility Won’t Work and Maybe Broken

    So here’s the scoop,

I was working on a clients website and for 2 months no issues.
I pretty much set it up, and just let it work after being developed, which let me get on with my life.

My client gets in touch with me today… “ummmm can you check my website”
And got that gut-wrenching drop in the pit of my stomach feeling.

I had various items hidden for various reasons. All Full Width Easy Sliders displaying a different picture that fit contextually to the device.

    One image for Desktop
One for Medium Sized Screens (Landscape Tablets)
One for Small Screens (Tablet Portrait)
One for Mobile Devices (iPhone and Android)

When I checked my website regardless of the device. All of these were displayed which effectively broke the website and user experience.

I hate to sound forward but this simply can not happen, and I do need a definite answer.
I cleared the website cache because I am using something called WPMU Dev.

And it seemed like when I ran that plugin and cleared the cache the problem resolved itself.
    For now.

What are your thoughts on this?
    Was this a known exploit.
Is there a conflict between WPMU Dev and Enfold Theme.
Do the latest update that I installed right after this program resolve that.

    Would love the help.
    Thank you.

I was using a plugin called

    WP Smush Pro
    Hummingbird

    by WPMU Dev.

Which compresses file on the website to load faster.
Not sure if it makes a difference.

    Again Thank You.

There you go, as I said the issue is “fixed”… FOR NOW.

But to reiterate it was a Element Visibility issue of the main image you see when you first land on the site.

Let me know what your thoughts are on why all of the Images I set for their own respective sizes were displayed at once.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. It’s very difficult to say what could have gone wrong there, is there a possibility to see the error somewhere? Can we reproduce it? I’m not aware of any conflicts with the plugins you are using.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
