Hi there,
I am using a video background in the header area. This was ok before. But recently it is showing black area in both right and left side and this is happening only in Google Chrome. How do I get rid of this?Thanks,

April 5, 2016 at 6:13 am #608040Hi,
I’m not getting the result you are describing in the latest version of Chrome, could you try to clear your browser cache and reload a few times to see if that helps please?
Best regards,
RikardApril 5, 2016 at 6:29 am #608053I did that already several times and hard refresh too. But still I am getting that black area. I’ve also checked in from different PCs and I get the same thing everywhere. Don’t know why this is happening in Chrome.
April 5, 2016 at 6:47 am #608062I’m getting the same thing on a mac in Chrome but also Safari… First load, black bars on left and right of the video on the homepage. When I resize the browser window all looks good. (my video is a background video in a color section)

April 5, 2016 at 7:08 am #608081Oh, I didn’t checked that. It is happening in Safari too. But it looks good after a refresh. And yes, (I forgot to mention) the resizing thing also works for Chrome.
April 6, 2016 at 4:26 am #608639April 6, 2016 at 8:35 am #608750Not yet. I am still getting the black area on my end. Looks like I’ve to rethink about the background.
Anyway, Thank you for your support :)

Ok, please let us know if you should need any more help, although it’s difficult if we can’t reproduce it.
Best regards,
RikardApril 8, 2016 at 12:55 pm #610202Hi Rikard…. still no luck on this end It’s fine for anything below +/- 1300 pixels but everything above shows the black bars which will dissappear after resizing the browserwindow. But appear again when returning to the homepage… cleared cache a few time and tried to reload multiple times..

April 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm #611202Hi Ghuddi
I don’t know if you already fixed your problem but this seems to fix it for me:
1. Set the colorsection to: at least 75% height of browser window (instead of 100%)
2. Add the following to the custom CSS (replace ID-OF-MY-COLORSECTION with the ID you have set for your colorsection):
#top #ID-OF-MY-COLORSECTION .av-section-video-bg video {
top: 0px !important;
}#top .av-section-with-video-bg {
position: inherit !important;
}hope this helps you too!

Glad to know you have figured it out :) But unfortunately that didn’t work for me either. I will leave this as it is for now.
