Sorry for such a noob question but this theme is more than I have biten on in the last theme I used. I can’t seem to find settings that allow me to display excerpts of my post on the homepage. Also its not clear how to place the slider there also. I click advanced layout on the home page settings and get nothing. I also set it to a static page for home and blog for blog. Any idea what I missed?
Hi,
Edit your homepage, go Advance Layout Editor > Media Elements > Insert the slider you like.
You can specify the excerpt for post items by using the <!–more–> tag.

Or enable the excerpt metabox on Screen Options > Excerpt.
