I have activated the Enfold theme (I prefer the Minimal Portfolio) in an updated WordPress. It was an old site with a few content and I want to rebuild it in this new theme. But when activating, the homepage keeps loading and is blank without getting any content. Is there something I forgot? I also already imported the Minimal Portfolio info, but on these pages I also only get codes because of an error. Can you help me to get back on track? Thank you.

You see a lot of pages from the old site (made in 2011). Probably unusable. If they cause the problem I can start with a blanc site without the old pages. No problem. I can also start with example pages…

EdwinApril 9, 2020 at 7:33 am #1202150Hi Edwin,
Thanks for that. I can’t see any error messages at all on the page, so I can’t say what is going wrong unfortunately. Could you try to disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them please?
Best regards,
RikardApril 9, 2020 at 1:28 pm #1202273You’re right. It was a plugin. Now I can work on a nice website with a great theme. I’m sure I will need your help in the coming week because of some questions. I have two question already:
When navigating between pages a always see a loading wheel a few seconds. Is this meant to be? Can I change that? Because now it looks like the website is very slow.
In the footer in the copyright, the theme is mentioned. Is that needs or can I leave out ‘powered by Enfold WordPress Theme’?
April 9, 2020 at 2:40 pm #1202321Hi,
1- You can go to Enfold theme options and disable “Page Preloading”
2- You can simply insert [nolink] in Copyright field to remove it – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/footer/#copyrights-info :)
Please feel free to let us know whenever you have a question or issue!

YigitApril 9, 2020 at 11:37 pm #1202531It’s to work with your theme. After a few hours I learn more and more of the theme. I have still a few questions. I did my best to find it.
1 How can I get a little more height space between main menu and page content?
2 Where can I find the font size and colour of the footer menu?
3 All of a sudden when editing a page I first get a [/]Shortcode window and far below the editing with elements. A always had the elements version in top.
4 I can’t find the font color for links in the body text.
5 There are some pages the white space under the footer disappeared? See http://montagebedrijfpinckaers.com/index.php/disclaimer/#topMany thanks.
April 11, 2020 at 6:24 am #1202826Hi,
1. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.page-template-default #header { margin-bottom: 20px; }2. I’m not sure exactly what you are trying to edit, but most settings can be found under General Styling->Footer. If you can find the correct setting there, or in Advanced Styling then we can help you out with custom CSS.
3. Please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/shortcodes-window-after-updating-to-wordpress-5-4/
4. You can set that under General Styling->Main Content.
5. I’m not sure I understand this problem, could you post a screenshot of it please?
Please try to stick to one or two questions per thread in the future.

RikardApril 11, 2020 at 11:15 am #1202864Thank you Rikard,
I have only two questions before the site is ready:
1 What I mean with the letter size in the footer is there where you see the copyright and the footer menu. I can’t find where to change that letter size. They’re a little too small at the moment.
2 On the homepage I use the portfolio element grid, but I get all the pictures without a little white margin around them. They’re sticked to each other. How can I change that. I can’t find. In the element there are nowhere settings where I can adjust that.
3 Therefore now I used the blog grid on the homepage, but here you see pictures are not in a row but a lot of empty space. Just like you miss photos there. I want them all together in a row.

EdwinApril 14, 2020 at 10:13 am #1203502Hi Edwin,
Sorry for the late reply.
1. Please try this in Quick CSS:
#socket .copyright { font-size: 14px; } #socket .avia-menu-text { font-size: 16px; }2 and 3; I’m not sure if it’s the element you want or not right now on the site? If it’s not then could you please create a test page where we can see it? Also please try to explain a bit further what exactly you would like to change.
Best regards,
RikardApril 14, 2020 at 2:19 pm #1203593Thanks again for your help. So what I actually want (I don’t know if this is possible?)
On the homepage you see a photo overview when clicking you see pop up light window. I want the pictures in the overview not sticked to each other but with a little space between them. (http://montagebedrijfpinckaers.com)
On the portfolio page I use the other overview (I think it’s called blog) with that nice space between pictures. That’s ok. But what do I see when clicking? I only see the picture again in the page. Is that meant to be? Or how do I use this element in the right way?
Is it possible to get the icons used in http://montagebedrijfpinckaers.com/index.php/onze-aanpak/ another color?
Thanks.
EdwinApril 16, 2020 at 7:30 am #1204276Hi Edwin,
Thanks for the clarification. I add the Metzelwerk element to the front page, is that the one you are looking for?
Icons; you can change the colour of them in the element options. Look for the Icoon tekstkleuren option in the Stijl tab.
Best regards,
RikardApril 23, 2020 at 11:18 pm #1206706Rikard,
The Metzelwerk on the home is ok. But the result after clicking I don’t understand yet. What do I see here? A new page with the one photo loaded? I tried to do add some content to a particular portfolio item page, but I don’t see it. What is used in this live version https://preview.themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4519990?_ga=2.234783324.358260154.1587676496-544188089.1587676496 ? That’s what I want. When clicking on a picture, to see more of that particular work in an image gallery together with a header or intro. I’m doing something wrong.
Thank you

YigitMay 12, 2020 at 10:30 pm #1212384Hi,
I have two questions about the website http://montagebedrijfpinckaers.com.1 How can I solve the problem that responsive (iPad) the logo and main menu are are pressed together and then mix up?
2 Is it possible to get clickable pictures in my portfolio pages http://montagebedrijfpinckaers.com/index.php/portfolio-item/badkamer-11/ ?Thanks,
EdwinMay 19, 2020 at 10:22 am #1214263Hi,
Thank you for the update.
1.) You can set the mobile menu to display on tablet or iPad view instead of the default menu. Go to the Enfold > Main Menu > General panel, look for the Menu Items for mobile settings and set it to the second option.
2.) Go to the Image elements’ Advanced panel and look for the Image Link Settings toggle. You should be able to apply a link to the images there.
