Hi,
i’d like to setup my page like ‘Home v11’.
I can’t find documentation how to do these ‘scrolling over each other images and text’ slides. So i am hoping you could help me with this a little.I also want that transparent navigation, which gets smaller while scrolling down. I thought i set it up right, but it doesn’t work for some reason. You might can send me the right way on this as well.
Please also tell me where to activate the ‘Scroll to Top’ button.

Hi superbikecoach!
That’s the “Fullscreen Slider” element which is in the “Media Elements” tab of your advanced layout builder. You can set the captions as you edit each slide and there is an option for adding the scroll to next button.
The “Scroll to Top” button should display automatically on your page when the user scrolls down a bit on your site. If your not seeing it then send us a link and we’ll take a look.

I’ll try the Fullscreen slider.
In regard scroll to top… no, button shows up. I also have a problem with the shrinking logo area when scrolling down- ain’t happen.

Please go to Enfold theme options > Header > Header Behaviour and make sure to check “Shrinking header”

The button should get a class of “avia_pop_class” when scrolling down but it does not. It sounds like the javascript is not working on your page.
Perhaps this 404 is causing the problem.

i know what a 404 is, but what 404 exactly are you referring to?
OK, seems i am trying hard on my side to get these things running:
– shrinking header (yes it is activated)
– scroll to top (missing)
– parallax effect (i want to have my landing page like enfold demo v11)We also did all settings as they are in the demo theme, but it ain’t work.
I am not an expert by far- but It seems that all of these effect issues are depending of recognizing if the user scrolls- the trigger for the java effect. My guess is that something doesn’t work or broke- or interfered by a pluging. I would really appreciate you check on this- as I can give you access to whatever you need.

I linked to the 404 in my previous post. Are you using a youtube video somewhere in the page?
Have you tried deactivating all plugins like suggested?

Elliottok, i deactivated all plugins and it all works- so thank you for that.
then i turned my most important one back on (Event Registration http://wpeventregister.com/) and… the problems are back on.I really hope you guys can make this work, can you?

Have you considered using the events calendar plugin instead? https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
We have spent a lot of time making sure it’s compatible and have even added custom shortcodes for it.

I don’t think there is an option for that. I’m not sure of any way to do it either.
Have you tried contacting the event register authors to see if they have any idea on what it could be? Your still getting the youtube 404, are you using youtube anywhere on the page?

yea, i just send them a request, but i think you’re right pretty much. i consider to go with the event manager.
Your refer to the 404 makes me wonder now.
Yes, i have a youtube linked video playing on the landing page, as well on several other pages. I don’t see/get any 404’s- could you send me a screen shot to make it more understandable for me where and when this kicks in?I appreciate your efforts a lot. Thx!

Make sure the URL your using is something like this.

I switched the URL to http instead of https for the youtube video.
I was able to send a test email to my address and it arrived fine. I sent you a test email. Double check the address for typos and be sure to check your spam folder as well.

Elliottnope, no email has arrived- neither to my outlook- nor to my yahoo account where it should send a copy of every email to (Email address hidden if logged out) . i could send a test email (from the settings app) and it arrived at (Email address hidden if logged out) – when i try to send a message via contact form… it does not work (even though the for reports a ‘success send’.
yes, i have contact form 7 plugin running right now, but it is for testing because also the enfold contact form didn’t work. Please help!

Your site keeps on timing out for me when I login to your dashboard. It seems to happen randomly but today I can’t load anything at all.
I was deactivating your plugins to do some testing but it timed out for me again. Does this happen for you also? I would try contacting your hosting provider about this to see what they say.
I’ll check back later to see if I can reactivate your plugins but I can’t really do much testing when this happens.
I’ll go ahead and flag this for the rest of our team to take a look as well.

I think if you say to your host that you have difficulties to receive emails send from your page that should be enough for them to know how to solve the issue.
