I am still trying to deal with this full screen slider issue. Look at this page: http://bluemontinluray.com/
I know how to get the slider in there…but don’t want people to have to scroll down to read the first 3 part section. I want that to be right over top of the slider since there is no menu to choose from.
Can you assist with more explanation of if this is possible to do or not?Thank you.
October 21, 2013 at 10:35 pm #178670Hi elames!
Can you post a screenshot and show us how you would like it to look?
Best regards,
YigitOctober 21, 2013 at 11:36 pm #178711Well that’s the problem, I can’t get it to look the way I want. I want the full screen slider , but dont’ want people to have to scroll to see the elements below it. If I could get the 3 main 1/3 elements on top of the slider..that would be good.
Thanks.
If I can do some sort of screen capture / creation…how to I attach it to you?- This reply was modified 11 years ago by elames.

You can use imgur, dropbox etc. The link you provided is broken. Did you use a Color Section? You can add a unique css id then use negative top margin to move it upwards. For example “slider-bottom-section”, add this on your Quick CSS:
#slider-bottom-section { margin-top: -300px; }

The link is still not working. Did you try the suggestion above?
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 23, 2013 at 6:43 pm #179858No the suggestion did not work at all. I don’t have a clue why the dropbox link doesn’t work. See this URL instead.

The link to the site is still not working. Maybe, my ip address is blocked or something. Let’s wait for other support team member to check the site.

You’re using the “fullscreen slider” which will always stretch across the entire screen. If you just want to show a “fullwidth” slider (like here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v3-3-column-with-blog/ or here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ ) select the “Fullwidth Easy Slider” or “Advanced LayerSlider” media elements instead: http://www.clipular.com/c?6018955491672064=v3AQv7Lg-wWDjrVIwya68MJrjpQ&f=.png

PeterOctober 28, 2013 at 5:17 pm #181670Yes, I was told previously that I had to use the full screen slider. That’s what I want. But I want the text boxes over top of it as in the attached photo previously. Is there any way to do it to look like that?
ThanksOctober 29, 2013 at 5:44 pm #182157Hey!
No, not by default because you can’t display the page content in the slider area. You can try a “background image” plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/background-manager/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-backgrounds-lite/ and then you should be able to add a slider behind the text content.
Best regards,
