Home page mess

Hello,

I’m running WP 4.2.2 with Enfold 3.1.5. No extra plugins except for a backup tool.

The home page of my site is supposed to be a page with a fullwidth easy slider and below the recent blog posts with sidebar. Besides the home page, I already made 2 pages and 2 test-posts.

If I access the home page from the main (and only) menu, it works perfectly (permalink = http://www.sitename.com/home), but if I access it from the site logo or domain name without the “/home” then it shows all pages/posts I made so far below one another. This looks ofcourse like a big mess and is not what I inteded. It doesn’t seem to make much difference if I change the setting “Front page displays” to “Your latest posts” or to “A static page”, choosing the correct page etc.

Can anyone help with this?
