    As of 4/07/16 the home page/front page for website is missing the slider and I am unable to open the home page for editing. It also appears the slider setup is no longer in the dashboard. Also the forms are missing on the site. Will updating the theme fix these issues? Please see below credentials. Thanks for your help.

    Hi damatia!

    There is a js error in console 

    
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'url' of undefined

    We checked for several conflicts but it did not correct as some files are corrupt and it need to be replaced please follow the steps provided in the below link and re-install the theme via FTP

    Install Enfold over FTP

    can I overwrite the existing theme and not delete?

    Better delete, and be aware, if there are any customizations IN THE FILES, they will be lost (like in functions.php)
