I just had it drawn to my attention that our homepage Layer Slider is not showing in Safari at all. It displays fine in Firefox and Chrome. How to resolve? Help asap is appreciated.
http://www.theyoginiproject.org
I do not normally use Safari and have no idea how long this is the case.
Wondering how much, on reviewing forums here, there are any incompatibility issues or conflicts with WP4 and Avia Framework, and especially with the integrated LayerSlider? Is there an Enfold update to address issues in this forum? There has been a release of new versions of LayerSlider, will there be a release with a seamless integration of it, again in Enfold update soon?
I have bought the plug-in seperately – Layer Slider. Is one able to update it one’s self within Enfold? I believed as already installed, cannot install it separately as a stand-alone.
Any directions here on being able to self-update, so to have the latest bug fixed version is appreciated.
May resolve the missing home in Safari (I hope).
Look forward to your response.

The temporary fix shared by a user in this thread helped only for some reason on my local (Mamp) sites:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/menu-structure-not-working/#post-324223
After selecting “Use Google CDN version of jQuery” in the Layerslider, two local sites then displayed LayerSlider. Another did not.
And none of them resolved for the live sites. I cleared browser cache and global CloudFlare caches after updating, so what is delivered and what is displayed by the browser should indeed be the updated setting.
This is only happening in Safari.
Firefox and Chrome are perfectly fine. Also tried deactivating CloudFlare’s Rocket Loader for these sites, and it made no change. Not the cause.
Also as this user mentions – thread now closed – the Menu in WP does not work once using this fix. Must deactivate it again to move menu items in WP Admin, so one can display LS or edit menu only alternately.
Still, did not effect live sites at all, for myself or clients. Home slider pages are blank in Safari.
Just posted question in another recent thread on updating LS. Look forward to response there and new version of Enfold addressing these LS issues and others.
Thank you for your time!

September 30, 2014 at 4:03 am #326952Hi!
Thank you for using Enfold.
I checked the site on safari 5.1.7 and the layer slider loads fine. On what version of safari are you testing this?
Cheers!

We are using Safari 7.1 here.
After migrating our site to a new optimized server yesterday night, it displayed in Safari this morning via our proxy server. I am not sure why the new server would affect it’s display as I presumed it was an internal element between a browser and LayerSlider. We just switched our dns a few hours ago and I wonder if you got the ‘fresh’ version.
Can you take a look at http://www.redjasperjewelry.com? On your version of Safari. It is still on the old host and does not display here.
Much appreciated!
MichaelOctober 2, 2014 at 8:44 am #328732Hi!
I can see the layer slider fine on Safari. You’re using MAC OS? I’ll ask the rest of the support team to check this. Please wait for their response.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 2, 2014 at 9:37 am #328763Thanks Ismael.
Yes, on Mac. Have it showing fine now, after migrating to new optimized server.
Interestingly, on upgrading to Enfold 3, it did not show on the inverse – Firefox and Chrome. It was not loading jQuery before the slider.
Deactivating CloudFlare’s RocketLoader took care of that. Hopefully just a temporary solution, as love the speed boost.
Will see if can have someone assist in setting up RocketLoader’s asynchronous loading of js manually so can just take care of this instance, while preserving it for all else. Or perhaps the next LS update will handle this, as it seems in their recent update log to be trying to address this compatibility.
Thx for feedback… Michael

Glad you figure it out Michael! This is how it looks on my end on Safari 7.1 on OS X 10.9.5 – http://i.imgur.com/wytI3Vj.jpg
