    I’m using a Vimeo video as a full page banner. Tried the “color section background” method and that didn’t work so well on mobile so I am now embedding the video in a LayerSlider layer. This seems to be working nicely across all interfaces.

    However, I need to hide from the video the annoying Vimeo play/hide button. I’ve already turned off Embed / Controls / Playbar in Vimeo but the button still displays.

    There are many posts on the web saying that it is not possible to remove this Vimeo button. But then there is this…

    Remove play button background video on mobile

    Unfortunately, I couldn’t see how to apply these instructions to my LayerSlider solution. Does anyone have any brilliant suggestions?

    Hey michaelspencer,
    Sorry for the late reply, but I have checked your page with Chrome and Firefox and I don’t see a play button, Please see the screenshot in Private Content area.
    Is this already resolved?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the link to your site, I see your video is on vimeo, the button is on the vimeo video. See this direct link to the video:

    Try checking your vimeo options and see if you can remove the button from there, or try hosting the video on your site directly.
